Goldenrod is a prolific grower in the garden and will readily self-seed (watch out for invasiveness!). I love that I get more goldenrod plants to work with each year. The flowers produce a gorgeous pale yellow dye, ink, and lake pigment. Depending on the modifier used, shades of bright yellow, gold, tan, greens, and green-browns can be achieved for dyes and evaporated inks.
